What to expect
Our goal is to provide you with access to some of the most remote and isolated regions on the earth and the opportunity to witness wildlife phenomena that occur there. When possible, in order to enhance a participant's experience and understanding of the areas visited, educational seminars and discussions will be offered on subjects ranging from photography instruction, to conservation issues, to cultural development and other related topics. Your expedition leader is fully equipped to take care of all the details of each day's itinerary including meals, transportation and accommodation, so you can have an expedition as enjoyable as possible. Finally, a traveler's experience will be enhanced if they bring along with them a sense of humor, flexibility, a quest for knowledge, and a spirit of adventure! The expeditions we operate take you to some of the most remote and undeveloped regions of the world. We strive to utilize the best accommodation, transportation and services for our guests, however, certain destinations lack the infrastructure and comfort most of us are accustomed to. Still, the benefits of traveling to such isolated areas will enable participants to witness wildlife spectacles and cultural events that few will see in their lifetime. Travel to these incredible destinations can often times be long and arduous, requiring extended periods of transport over unpaved bumpy roads, or boat rides that necessitate sitting for an extended duration. In order to cut down on travel time and provide an extended nature experience, Wildlife and Nature Travel will opt for airline travel when and where available. Accommodations can range from high-end hotels and elegant platform camps, such as featured in our Botswana trip, to rustic bush camps in the heart of a jungle, such as in our trip to the WWF camp to visit the eastern lowland gorillas of Central African Republic. Weather or other unforeseen circumstances can cause delays or changes in our itineraries. At such times, we will do our best to find an appropriate course of action to achieve our destination objective or find a suitable alternative. All meals and program excursions are generally included, and we will do our best to accommodate those with special dietary needs. Certain excursions can and do require modest to large amounts of physical exertion. Participants in trekking expeditions must be fully mobile, able to hike three miles a day or walk for two hours in sun, or high humidity environment while carrying a backpack with camera gear (if so desired) and water.

If Wildlife and Nature Travel fails to run the trip due to its own mistakes or circumstances (management problems, financial problems, bankruptcy), or decides to cancel it for reasons within its own reach and reasons, all deposits and payments will be refunded. In case Wildlife and Nature Travel is unable to fulfill completely or partly its obligations due to: fire, acts of God, war, military operations of any kind, strikes, riots, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, the fulfillment of the trip contract obligations shall be extended correspondingly for a period during which such circumstances last. In which case personal insurances shall cover loss.

The itineraries described are subject to change at the discretion of Wildlife and Nature Travel. Due to the expeditions operating in remote parts of the world, we reserve the right to change the itinerary due to weather conditions, political conditions, or other factors beyond our control without consulting the passengers. It is understood that such decisions will be made in the best interests and safety of all passengers involved and with regard to the ability to complete the final itinerary. Passengers have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these inevitable itinerary changes. Expedition rates are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change prior to departure. Substantial changes in tariffs, exchange rates and the price of fuel, services and labor sometimes increase the cost of expedition arrangements significantly, and we reserve the right to alter our prices or introduce surcharges accordingly, even if payment has been received in full.
